Just as an FYI - Microsoft DreamSpark enables students to download professional-level Microsoft developer tools at no charge, to advance their learning and skills through technical design, technology, math, science and engineering activities. 

This program used to be open to College / University students only. Now it is open to high school students too.

The Microsoft Sharepoint Conference 2008

The Microsoft Sharepoint Conference 2008 Istanbul is the third and final of three global SharePoint conferences, following Seattle and Dubai.
